Tsuyoshi Michinobu received his BEng., MEng., and PhD degrees in Applied Chemistry from Waseda University, Japan, in 1999, 2000, and 2003, respectively. After postdoctoral studies at ETH Zurich, and subsequently at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), he started his academic career at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology as Research Associate in 2006. He joined Tokyo Institute of Technology as Assistant Professor in 2008 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2023.
